Stand up for Eurovision in Liverpool this May

Liverpool’s Adam Rowe will host a night of international comedy next month as part of Eurovision celebrations.

Stand Up for Eurovision, programmed by Comedy Shop and coming to the Mountford Hall in Mount Pleasant on May 4, will feature funny men and women from eight competing Eurovision countries.

Ireland will be represented by Ian Coppinger, while Zuva Martens will appear for the Netherlands, Kaco Forns for Spain and Jonis Josef for Norway. Finland (Ray Zambino), Germany (Michael Jager) and France (Paul Taylor) make up the evening’s line-up.

Tickets are £5, available from noon on April 20, and entry is for over 18s only.

Rowe said: “I’m made up to be hosting Stand Up for Eurovision and it’s set to be an unmissable night of comedy. “It’s a brilliant opportunity to get comedians from across the world together on one stage and be part of the epic Eurovision city takeover.”
