Ludovico Einaudi Liverpool arena tour date announced


Classical music superstar Ludovico Einaudi will play a date in Liverpool this autumn as part of a new UK tour.

The composer and pianist – the most streamed classical artist of all time – comes to the M&S Bank Arena on October 22.

Tickets cost from £71.17 to. £94.17. ‘Premium view’ tickets are £205.25 and VIP packages cost £255.25.

Einaudi, who studied at the conservatories in Turin and Milan, is renowned for his haunting piano scores and for film and TV compositions including music for Black Swan, Nomadland, The Father and the 2002 series Doctor Zhivago starring Keira Knightley.

Last year the award-winning 67-year-old Italian released Underwater, his first new solo piano album in 20 years.

The Liverpool concert is in addition to previously announced tour dates, and follow last year when he played three sold-out nights at the Eventim Apollo followed by three at the Royal Albert Hall.

Einaudi says: “While I enjoy the period of contemplation, learning, inspiration and hard work that goes into the composing and recording process, it is in the live arena in communion with the audience that my work really comes alive.”
