Knowsley Music Festival promises 10 days of live sounds this November

A 10-day music festival will be held across Knowsley this November as part of its Borough of Culture celebrations.

The festival will be staged at venues throughout the borough from November 10-19.

Leading Liverpool-based music consultant Yaw Owusu is curating the programme which organisers promise will feature some famous faces from the Knowsley music scene as well as up and coming acts and performers.

He said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to be part of Knowsley’s celebrations as Liverpool City Region Borough of Culture, and to be curating such a special music festival.

“Music is a part of the fabric of the borough and has influenced the musical landscape more than many would know. We hope to really platform that during the music festival, and I’m excited to share what we’ve been working on.”

The full line up and venues is yet to be announced.
