Katie Price joins Liverpool panto cast this Christmas

Katie Price is heading for Liverpool this Christmas to take the starring role in a city panto.

She will appear as the evil Carabosse in Sleeping Beauty, staged at the M&S Bank Arena's Auditorium from December 16-30.

Tickets are on sale priced from £24.50 to £62.50.

The production also stars Bippo as the Castle Clown, Britain’s Got Talent finalist Lucy Kay as the Fairy and Andy Brennan as Queen Fifi of Fazakerley.

Panto producers Shone Productions are promising dazzling dance routines, a live band and spectacular special effects in the story of a cursed princess who pricks her finger on a spinning wheel and is doomed to sleep for 100 years until she is awoken by her one true love.

TV star and model Price says: “I’m so excited to be performing in Liverpool. I love the city and can’t wait to bring my kids along with me and make some amazing memories.”

And producer James Shone adds: “I’m thrilled to be bringing our production of Sleeping Beauty to my hometown of Liverpool. It's a wonderful show and we have such a strong cast to deliver this modern pantomime version of this sensational magical story.”
