Inside No.9 Liverpool date as hit BBC show goes on UK tour

Fans are being invited to go Inside No.9 at the Liverpool Empire this autumn when the critically acclaimed TV comedy arrives in the city as part of a new UK tour.
Inside No.9 Stage / Fright will be at the Lime Street theatre from November 18-22 following a sold-out season the West End.
Tickets go on general sale tomorrow at noon.
Nominated for a prestigious Olivier Award this year in the Best New Entertainment or Comedy Play category, Steve Pemberton and Reece Shearsmith’s Stage / Fright features comedic, spooky and dramatic moments as fans of the TV show have come to expect, with some familiar characters and stories mixing with brand new material.
Further casting will be announced soon.
Each performance will see a different celebrity ‘hostage’ perform with Pemberton and Shearsmith.
The West End run included cameos from, among others, Stephen Fry, Lenny Henry, Mel Giedroyc, Matt Lucas, Michael Sheen, Tamsin Greig, Adrian Dunbar, Bob Mortimer, David Walliams, Micky Flanagan, Meera Syal, Mackenzie Crook, Emilia Fox and Rob Brydon.
Its creators said today: "We’ve been bowled over by the success of Inside No 9 Stage / Fright at the Wyndham’s Theatre. Selling out every performance before the run started and being nominated for an Olivier Award was fantastic enough, but the nightly reaction from fans and newcomers alike has been exhilarating and really quite moving.
“So we’re delighted to be able to bring the show to a wider audience around the country.”
The Inside No.9 team previously appeared at the Auditorium at the arena back in December 2021 with ‘An Evening Inside No.9’ which took a look at the creation of the BAFTA Award-winning cult TV show.
And in 2023, they returned to the city to film scenes for the series on Merseyrail.
