The Liverpool Everyman is set to play host to the first Fem de la Festival this spring.

The three-day event from Fem de la Femme Comedy Club runs from May 22-24 at the Hope Street venue and will feature some of the best female comedians in the northwest.

There will also be stalls from female-led businesses, along with Find Your Funny workshops and a Q&A panel session on May 24 for women navigating the industry.

The event Downstairs at the Everyman opens on May 22 with a double bill featuring Katie Gill-Williams and Lorraine Hoodless’ Celtic Connections, followed by Canada’s Allyson June Smith with her latest stand-up show Little Smith Sunshine.

On May 23, a double bill includes Maxine Wade’s The Newlywed and Josephine Lacey with Autism Mama.

And along with a festival workshop and Q&A session, May 24 will also include an open mic night along with multi-award-winning comedian Samantha Day with her latest stand-up show Generation Wars.

Fem de la Femme was founded in 2022 and showcases some of the best female comedy and spoken word artists in the northwest region. Its patron is Liverpool's Pauline Daniels and it holds regular monthly comedy nights Downstairs at the Everyman.

Fem de la Festival is Downstairs at the Everyman from May 22-24. More details and tickets HERE
