Chef James Martin makes Liverpool arena date on new tour

TV chef and presenter James Martin is stepping out of the small screen kitchen to take to the giant arena stage on a new tour which visiting Liverpool next spring.

He will present James Martin Live at the M&S Bank Arena on March 19, 2022.

Tickets go on sale at 10am this Friday, May 7.

The show will combine the 48-year-old’s cooking skills with plenty of humorous chat.

Martin said: “I love going out on tour so I’m really excited to be announcing new shows for 2022.

“We’ve had some really great fun with tours in the past. Of course, I’ll be cooking and trying to teach everyone some tips and tricks, but fear not, there will be plenty of humour injected into these shows so prepare to have a really good night out.”

The son of a Yorkshire farming family, Martin – author of 18 cookery books - made his TV debut in 1996 and presented Saturday Kitchen on BBC1 from 2006-16.

He took part in the third series of Strictly Come Dancing in 2005 when he and professional partner Camilla Dallerup came fourth, and is also a keen racing driver.
