It will be three cheers for cheese and a fanfare for fromage when CheeseFest rolls in to Liverpool this spring.
The UK’s only travelling cheese festival is celebrating 30 ‘cracking’ years of Aardman Animations’ Wallace & Gromit and is promising a grand day out.
All things cheese will be on offer when it comes to Exhibition Centre Liverpool on Saturday, March 23.
Experience some of the greatest cheeses in the world at the artisan cheese market, with melted raclette, gooey mozzarella sticks, top notch toasties, and a whole host of unique slices and cheese innovations from the UK’s best traders – all hosted by ‘cheese ambassadors’ Wallace & Gromit.
Along with the chance to try different cheeses, the entertainment includes model making for children, life-size vehicles, film screenings of popular Wallace & Gromit movies, and a meet and greet with Wallace and Gromit themselves.
Film favourites Wallace & Gromit first arrived on our screens in 1989 in the Oscar-nominated animated short A Grand Day Out. Wallace is a cheese-loving English inventor and Gromit his intelligent-but-silent canine sidekick.
CheeseFest is on Saturday March 23. For details about timed entry tickets and to register visit the Exhibition Centre Liverpool website HERE
